I enjoy working with adolescents (ages 12+), adults, couples, and families. I use the evidence-based therapeutic approach that best meets your needs so that you can begin to experience more peace in your life. Together, we can learn how to stop unwanted behavior & patterns, address thoughts or emotions that can be hard for you to cope with, communicate more successfully and set healthy boundaries. We can work to increase enjoyment in life and to heal from the past. My focus is to make therapy a warm, personalized, and safe place to explore and grow in a meaningful way.
I am a licensed mental health provider in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and South Carolina. I am also certified as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor--I work with individuals who struggle with dependency issues as well as their family members.
I have been working in Behavioral Health since 2002 and truly love what I do each day. I incorporate Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Trauma Recovery, Stress Management, Emotional Regulation Techniques, Mindfulness and Psychoeducation into my practice. I have a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Art Education, both from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI.
