Bethany is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and also holds a Bachelor's degree from Manhattan College in Philosophy.
Bethany has clinical experience working with a diverse group of adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, life transitions, as well as grief and loss. Her approach to counseling is collaborative and focused on assisting clients as they navigate the challenges of daily life while helping them move in the direction of their values.
Bethany uses evidence-based practices that encourage client self-reflection, acceptance, and mindfulness in addition to more conventional thought and behavior change therapies. Bethany's belief is that clients deserve a safe, non-judgmental space where they can be authentically seen and heard as they are. She aims to help clients identify and harness the strengths they already possess while offering insight, skill-building, and tools in service of their unique goals.
