I appreciate the process of self-learning and, developing a trusting relationship while meeting the individual where they are in the change process. I believe that gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves helps decrease some of our struggles and empowers us to overcome obstacles.
I have experience working with adults that experience addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety. My therapeutic style is person-centered, utilizing motivational interviewing, trauma-focused, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
My goal as a counselor is to increase self-awareness, discover stuck points or barriers to your goals, and navigate as a team to find a more comfortable and meaningful living experience.
I believe that in order to relieve internal suffering we need to understand ourselves better, and as a team, we can discover together.
